Rubinero finished 2nd in the dressage phase of his 70-Day Stallion Test and 3rd place overall. His character and rideability earned him perfect 10’s. Rubinero qualified for the Bundeschampionat, was Reserve Champion at Rastede, and quickly moved up to the Advanced levels. Imported to the US in 2013, Rubinero continued his winning ways with his amateur owner, earning scores as high as 72.5% at Intermediaire I. He was the USDF Region 3 Champion at Intermediaire and Reserve Champion at Prix St. Georges. Rubinstein, Rubinero’s sire, is a legend with over 90 approved sons, more than 170 States Premium daughters, and his offspring have won over 2.5 Million Euro in competition. Rubinero’s dam, Faola, passed her Mare Performance Test with an overall score of 8.36, receiving a 9.0 for her willingness to perform, her canter, rideability, free jumping technique and a 10.0 for free jumping ability. She has produced two licensed stallions as well as successful dressage horses and a 1.40m jumper. With Ex Libris and Furioso in the mix, what a versatile pedigree Rubinero offers.

Jakira, is an imported Brandenburg-Anhalt Premium mare who is actively in competition with Murder Hollow. Prior to our ownership, she showed in both dressage and eventing. At her eventing debut at Woodside International Horse Trials, she placed in the top 10. Jakira performed her riding horse test (Reitpferdeprüfung) in Germany under rider Christin Böhner placing 3rd. She has continued her dressage career and is also driven in our four-in-hand team. Jakira is incredibly forward and never goes against the leg. Jakira is uphill, powerful, and balanced with great freedom of movement in her shoulder.  She is a hard worker and we have already seen her produce similar qualities in her offspring.

 

In 2021, Jakira competed in two classes at Dressage at Devon. She earned Silver in her Mare class – just .2 points away from Gold. She also earned Bronze in the Produce of Dam class where she was 1 point away from Gold. Jakira’s sire, Johnson, has risen to be one of the world’s best dressage stallions and holds 2nd place (as of 2022) on the FEI World Ranking. Her grandsire, Jazz, has led the top spot of WBFSH ranking and is now in 3rd place (as of 2022). Jazz was titled KWPN Horse of the Year 2006. Jakira’s paternal granddam has produced a plethora of incredibly talented and high-level horses including two Grand Prix offspring and two PSG/Inter I offspring. Jakira’s dam, Dorema, has produced multiple talented dressage offspring who are currently working their way up the levels. Jakira’s maternal granddam, Donnerfee, produced a licensed stallion, Sir Lausitz.
