Nightshade MHF
GFS Mikado (GFS Lord of the Dance - Camaro) x Many Blessings GES (Mitril - Sagar)
Nightshade MHF is a unique double dilute tobiano Warmblood filly. Like sire and dam, we anticipate this filly to be a versatile athlete. Nightshade is going to easily mature to 17h+ but is still incredibly elegant. Nightshade’s canter is ground covering and powerful, yet she can balance and turn on a dime.
Nightshade’s sire, GFS Mikado, is by GFS Lord of the Dance who is by Estonian stallion, Destello. Destello’s dam, is over 62% thoroughbred and sired by the eventing stallion Malibu Galileo. Mikado's dam is by the Elite advanced eventer and showjumper, Camaro. Camaro has many placings up to M level in eventing and showjumping and placed twice at the German Bundeschampionate.
Nightshade’s dam, Many Blessings GES, is a rare double dilute Czech Warmblood mare. Her dilute breeding makes her unique in our breeding program as she is only able to produce palomino/buckskin/smoky black foals when bred to non-dilute colored stallions. Kinsky Warmbloods excel in show jumping, eventing, dressage, polo, and hunt racing. They are renowned for their wonderful temperaments, easy trainability, athleticism, and stamina. Many Blessings is incredibly smart and willing and has recently gone back under saddle. She shows promise in both dressage and jumping. Many Blessings is by Kinsky Czech Warmblood Stallion, Mitril who is known for his fabulous jumping form and correct, balanced conformation. Her paternal grandsire, Alois, is an accomplished Grand Prix show jumper who won the 6-year-old competition in the Czech Republic. Alois is also an approved stallion the the SCHCT (Czech Warmblood) and the SCHKK (Kinsky) registries. Simply Irresistible GES, the dam of Many Blessings, is by Sager. Sager’s sire, Hurikan, is one of a few approved and licensed stallions in the Czech Republic for both the Czech Warmblood registry and the rare Kinsky Warmblood registry. During his career he was successfully shown in both showjumping, dressage and driving. He has produced many successful show horses and a handful of breeding stallions. Kinsky Warmbloods are known as Europe’s original “gold sport horse” and are now considered a rare breed by the European Union authorities.
