Superstition MHF

Pax Asgard af Pegasus (Pegasus Vom Niehaus-Hof - Ambrosius af Asgard) x Honnah Lee
(Negro - Riverman)
Superstition MHF is a well-built colt with clear stallion expression. He trots with incredible cadence and has a canter that is ground covering, uphill with each stride and well balanced. His movement was emphasized by the judge at his foal inspection. Given his pedigree, we anticipate he will be versatile but a wonderful dressage prospect.
Superstition’s sire is Knabstrupper stallion, Pax Asgard af Pegasus. Pax is quickly becoming one of the most prolific sires of high quality Knabstrupper offspring in North America. He is proving to be a versatile and powerful horse – Pax is ridden in dressage, driven in harness, and has recently started jumping and is showing serious natural jumping talent. In 2021, Pax competed in the Get of Sire class at the world-renowned Dressage at Devon earning a Bronze with a collective mark of 77.15 points to finish behind serial winner KWPN sire Sir Sinclair and the 7-year-old Oldenburg stallion Davos CF and beating out several traditional Warmblood stallions. Pax and his offspring are paving the way to a spotty and sporty showring.
Superstition’s dam, Honnah Lee, is a KWPN dressage bred mare who schooled and showed up to 2nd level with an adult amateur prior to joining Murder Hollow. Honnah is a mare that is completely happy hacking out on trails, schooling flat in the arena or jumping. She is substantially built and is a powerhouse with lovely, rhythmic gaits. Honnah Lee’s sire, Negro, ranks 13th (as of 2022) in the WBFSH ranking for dressage sires and was awarded the 2017 KWPN Stallion of the Year for producing Olympic, World Equestrian Games and World Cup winners. Honnah’s paternal granddam, Fewrie, produced 5 advanced level dressage horses. Honnah Lee’s dam, Winnythepooh JSF, is a Premium Holsteiner mare and produced the Oldenburg licensed stallion, Intotal. Honnah’s maternal grandsire, Riverman, was named the USEF Eventing Sire of the Year 5 times and the USEF South Pacific Award (for the Top US-based Show Jumping Sire) 3 times and produced 11 licensed sons. For dressage, Riverman can be found in the pedigree of some international Grand Prix horses as a dam sire. Canadian Grand Prix team horse Caravella (Contango x Riverman – ridden by Megan Lane) and Adrienne Lyle’s Harmony’s Duvall (by Rousseau x Riverman).
